Tannith is a Clinical Psychologist who is committed to providing clients with a safe and empathic space to connect and explore a pathway towards living a life that is meaningful to them. She works collaboratively and flexibly with her clients to achieve optimal and meaningful treatment outcomes.
Tannith primarily draws upon an integrative therapeutic framework focusing on relational, trauma, and attachment informed approaches to meet each individual client’s needs. She uses a range of evidence-based psychological treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as using a mind-body rehabilitation focus and focused parenting support.
Tannith has clinical experience in various settings, including Perth Children’s Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital – State Major Trauma Unit, and private practices.
Tannith has experience working with individuals with diverse psychosocial, medical, and psychological complexities. She works with adults, adolescents and children with a wide range of presentations including, anxiety, mood disorders, stress, trauma-related disorders, parent-child relationship difficulties, children navigating complex emotions, and adjustment difficulties.
Tannith enjoys working in the early and adolescent developmental periods and working therapeutically with individuals and families facing a variety of challenges. In addition, she has a particular clinical interest in Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), chronic pain and somatic symptoms in children, adolescents and young adults.
Tannith believes in the importance of working collaboratively with her clients, enhancing their resilience, strengths, and function, to address their difficulties and improve their quality of life. She is currently working in private practice and at Perth Children’s Hospital and offers both in-person and Telehealth appointments.
